Ability to pin/favourite commonly used Active Directory objects for Policy assignment

Would be handy to be able to pin or favourite commonly used AD objects where we assign policy for quick access instead of having to navigate through AD Structure to find. Would be good to be able to quickly access these objects in the Portal to modify Policy.

Yes, this is very much needed. Also would be nice if the UI were more responsive -- perhaps html5-based, instead of Flash.

I would really like this feature too.

I would also find this feature helpful.

Agree.  We've actually built our own UI to add/remove edmpolicy and edmlink attributes.  Would be nice if this feature in the console were improved.

We don't even use the portal for this process due to performance factors like described, we built a little front end to manage our "Software Deployment Groups" and another that handles OU level entitlements.  We never use computer objects to hold the policy because we have a large organisation and the handling of enterprise level deployment processes would become unmanageable.  (like software version updates)

Yes I agree it will be a helpful feature, we will discuss it internally.

Regarding poor performance of policy console implemented in flex: Please note that in 9.2, policy console pages have been re-written in HTML5 and other latest technologies.

We have also made a number of performance improvements. To name a few; instead of loading all domain services, we load only default/last-used domain services, we have made complete change in domain and services retrieval and policy assignment process ( instead of going via RMP, we directly access CSDB and AD), we also provide server side pagination for better service-browsing experience .
