panelpgm & radconsw

through radia 7.9 I used a batch file that called radconsw with an .ext file to select which radia manager I would connect to with radxplor. The ext file had been created in2001 with a radia paint program that now appears to be replaced by panelpgm. the combination of radconsw and the ext file made a change to the zmaster.zipaddr value on the machine it was run on, then launched radxplore to initiate the connecteion the the csdb editor. this is no longer functioning with the client upgraded to 9.2. are there new tools that replace what was working? is there a better method for selecting among several managers when launching the scdb editor?

There is a good method for setting up a drop down list of managers you want to connect to using CSDB Editor. It involves the creation of a TPCTRL.EDM object in the lib folder of your Administrator Workstation and creating a variable in ZMASTER named NVDOPTS. TPCTRL.EDM is a multi-heap object with one heap per manager in the drop down list. Each heap requires a host name or IP for the manager, plus the port, plus a friendly name for use in the drop-down list.

This approach is explained in the following KB Article:

https://support.accelerite.com/hc/en-us/articles/202138050-CAE-CSDB-Editor-How-to-point-to-multiple-Servers-in-a-drop-down-list-in-the-explorer-login-panel-

I think the drop down menu is the most convenient way to set things up for CSDB Editor operations on multiple Configuration Servers .Let me know if you can't access the link above or have any questions after reading it.

Incidently, in the article they suggest using a 90 minute timeout setting. Typically I set this much lower - like 90 seconds.
