Portal time

Since Daylight Saving Time kicked in on Sunday in the UK, the OS is running on BST (eg. 18:00), however Portal appears to be running on UTC time (eg.17:00) - the messages in catalina.out are logged on UTC time as are the batch jobs.

The CP service and server has been restarted/rebooted, without no affect.

Where/how can the time used by portal be set to use BST?

Hi,

We recommend the CPBM tomcat server/ CPBM database/ OS of CPBM server, all to be running on UTC.
But if you intend to use BST then please make sure all all the nodes are running on same timezone.

To change the timezone of CPBM tomcat server, you can change the argument +-Duser.timezone="GMT"+ appropriately in the file *+/usr/share/cloud/portal/conf/tomcat6.conf+*.

Before you make these changes , stop the CPBM and restart after making the changes.
