Managing your tasks

A user can view all tasks if the user has the required role for which the task is created.
Following task types are provided by CloudPortal™ Business Manager as default for POPUPs.
To view a task, perform the following steps:
  1. In the main menu, click All Tasks.You can view all the tasks on the left side pane
  2. Select a task on the left side pane. You will see the details of the task on the right side pane.

You can filter the list of tasks to view all the tasks or to see if there are any pending or completed tasks.

Pending actions are also displayed on dashboard under My Tasks widget and you can directly click the task to act on it.

Service provider user can view tasks for any tenant by following below steps:
  1. Log in to the CloudPortal Business Manager UI as Root user.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click All Accounts.
  4. Select an account on the left side pane. You will see the details of the account on the right side pane.
  5. Click Tasks tab on the right side pane. You can view the pending tasks.
Any user can take action on the visible tasks. Follow below steps to act on any pending task:
  1. View the task by following the steps mentioned in the above section.
  2. If the task is in pending state, then you will see Click to Complete link. Click it.

    The Review and Confirm window appears.

  3. Enter your observation in the Memo field.
  4. Click Reject or Approve to take action on the task accordingly.
Note: If you enter more than 255 characters in the Memo field while rejecting a Finance Approval task, then you get an error.
