CSDB Soft Lock on Single Domain DCS Sync

Does anybody know off the top of their head if when you do a single domain DCS sync if it soft locks the entire DB? I am kicking around an idea where we could/would sync one domain more than our normal once a day full DCS sync (maybe hourly). However, I don't want it to soft lock the SOFTWARE domain as we could be doing imports.

Hi Brian
I just performed a DCS sync on the Software domain only and it does appear that dmabatch will softlock of the entire CSDB

I will look more into this and get a definite answer for you

Thanks Brian

Thanks for confirming Billy. That is what I was guessing. So a question out to the community. Does anybody have any domains (maybe like CLIENT) they sync more regularly? How are you achieving that? A second Core that is used just for that domain? I obviously can't soft lock the entire main Core every hour.
