Cloudstack 3 installation issue CentOS 6.3

HI All,

Just running through the installation routine of the management server and when I hit M to install the management server after a couple of seconds I get the attached error message with basically says */repodata/repomd.xmk errno 14 could not open read file */repomd.xml. I'm using the citrix download of cloudstack and not the opensource version.

Does anyone have any idea on what this error might be, I think I'll try it on centos 6.2 as well just to see if that makes any difference.

Regards

Cloudstack 3 installation issue CentOS 6.3

I've just tried it on CentOS 6.2 and get the same error exactly. I'm following the quick installation guide, which involves before hand setting selinux to be permissive and not much else other than basic network setup.
I have installed vmware tools into the guest os first. Any hints on what this might be?

Regards
Dale

Hi Dale,

Looks like a problem with repository configuration. Cloudstack installer creates a temporary repository for the installation. Can you please check if there are problems in doing so?

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure other than those error messages how to check although if I look in yum.repos.d there is no cloud-temp repo only Centos-base,debuginfo media repos. I've tested this in centos 6.2 and 6.3 plus 2 different versions of cloudstack as well as the Open source version, so there must be a step or some information missing out of the simple install guide for cloudstack.

Doh! found the issue I had a typo in the selinux setting.

Thanks for the help.
