reset software connect daily time

When I look in the radstate.log file (ZTIMEQ OBJECT) on a couple of computers the software connect daily is set to the following ZSCHDEF = [DAILY(19991010,00:00:00)] so the client doesn’t connect unless I force a software connection. Is there a way to reset the daily software connect time without having to reinstall the Radia 9.1 client?

You should be able to delete the ztimeq.edm object, and run a Radia connect to recreate the ztimeq.edm object with the correct date/time without re-installing the agent. We run a third party utility to delete the ztimeq.edm and run a Radia connect to rebuild the timers on several systems per month.

Tony,

That actually looks like a timer that was defined in the client install.ini in order to force an initial connect. Since the date is already past (1999, October 10) the machine should connect within a minute or two after reboot. Is it possible the RADSCHED timer service is not running on this machine? Please check the radsched and radshist logs to see if there is some error in the command it is trying to execute, or in case the connect keeps failing with an error (200, 209, 650) and the ztimeq retries is set to keep retrying... There may also be a connect_initial.log if that is what is defined in the ztimeq.zrsccmdl command line. The information in that log may tell you what is going on.
