"Configuring guest traffic" - Something went wrong

I got the following error when running the CloudPlatform™ installation wizard:

 

  • Configuring guest traffic

Something went wrong; you may go back and correct any errors:
Incorrect number

 
 
Where do I start looking for the problem?

"Configuring guest traffic" - Something went wrong

From looking at the logs I found this error:

 

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The private ip address of the server (10.68.186.66) is not compatible with the CIDR of pod: pod1 and zone: zone1
at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:102)

Can you post which CIDR you have used for Pod1 and ZONE1 ?

 

It seems that they clash, or are not compatible with each other.

Hello,

what you have written is probably network mask (255.255.255.128) - CIDR is something like 10.68.186.0/25 so this might be the cause of your issue. And the CIDR for guest traffic must correspond to CIDR for the pod.

 

Maybe you can post a picture of that particular page in the wizard so we can have the whole picture to help you more?
