I noticed that the CPBM 1.4 Install Guide, page 8 says:
"CloudPortal Business Manager and CloudStack must reside on separate nodes. If you have already installed CloudStack, install CloudPortal Business Manager on a different node. The installation will fail if you install them on the same node."
However, further down on pg. 13 there is a note referring to "Setting Port for Single-Node Installation":
"If you have installed CloudPortal Business Manager on the same machine as CloudStack, you need
to modify the default port setting in Tomcat so that they do not both try to use the same default port."....
Can you advise on that? Thanks!
From my experience, CloudPortal Business Manager and CloudStack will not easily run on the same node. They use different versions of Tomcat and CloudStack has hard coded paths to a specific version of Tomcat.
The section on Setting Port for Single-Node Installation should probably be removed from the documentation.
