Radia provides backup and restore scripts for migrations, but it is not meant to be used for regular backups. To back up your RCA installation, you can stop the RCA Core service, copy your InstallDir (PSL/RCA, by default) and DataDir (PSL/RCA/Data, by default) to a back up location, and then start your services again. You may also want to use external tools, but just keep in mind that it's possible for back up software to cause file corruption.
