Customizing Channel-specific CSS directory

Hi, 

 

I try customizing a specific channel CSS, the manual say that is necessary create a new folder for a new channel if not already created in: citrix.cpbm.custom.portal-x.x.x/custom/css but this path doesn't exist, i tried to create folder under citrix.cpbm.custom.portal/src/main/resources/custom/css/ custom the css, images and build jar file but i can't see any change. Do you know what is the correct way to create the folder? or where i can find it?

Hi Jason,

 

As of CPBM 2.2, there is no channel specific UI for end customer and the customized channel specific CSS is applied on the CPBM UI after the user successfully login into system. So, the user sees the UI in that channel specific look and feel only after successful login.

Customizing Channel-specific CSS directory

Hi Jason,
 
According to the docs, you have to create a directory "channel" under "citrix.cpbm.custom.portal/src/main/resources/custom/css/" and then under "citrix.cpbm.custom.portal/src/main/resources/custom/css/channel" , you need to create a CSS file with name as your channel code. 
Example, if you want to customize a channel having code as "JASON" then you need to create a CSS file having name "JASON.css" and place the file into directory "citrix.cpbm.custom.portal/src/main/resources/custom/css/channel".
 
Then build the project , enable customized bundles and copy the custom jars into "/usr/share/vts3/custom_impls" directory. More details are available at http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/cpbm-22-map/cpbm-install-build-custom-components-22-tsk.html.
