Procuring Account in Salesforce
Developer Force.com
You can procure an account in Salesforce by performing the following steps.
- Go to http://www.developerforce.com/events/regular/registration.php
- Specify the following details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Job Role
- Company
- Country
- Postal Code
- Username: Select a unique username in the form of an email by which you will access your Developer Edition account
- Click the checkbox beside I have read and agreed to the Master Subscription Agreement
- Click Sign me up
You will receive an email verification.
- Click on the URL provided in the email verification to set up your account in Salesforce
You will be prompted to set a password and a question for the password when you login for the first time.
- Login to Salesforce.com
- Click the arrow beside your name
- From the dropdown menu, select My Settings
- In the left navigation pane, Expand Personal
- Click Reset My Security Token A confirmation screen appears and the Security Token is sent to your email address.Note: The security token is required while setting up the Salesforce account in CPBM. Refer to Setting up Salesforce within CloudPortal Business Manager

In the production environment, you need to get an Enterprise Edition account of Salesforce.com, as follows:
