It gives us great pleasure to announce the availability of Radia 10.0 Release! Radia 10.0 includes new features, enhancements, and other changes to tackle the ever-growing challenges of Endpoint Management. The Radia team has been working hard to be responsive to customers’ feedback and enhance the Radia product line so as to continuously deliver value to our customers.
With this release, we are aligning closely with the new OS-As-A-Service approach that Microsoft has adopted starting with Windows 10. Radia 10.0 supports all the latest three branches of Windows 10. Radia 10.0 supports Windows 7/8.1 rollup patching to make it easier for administrators to continue to patch Windows 7/8.1 devices. We’re excited to share that Radia 10.0 has out-of-the-box support for “Sentient”, Accelerite’s real-time infrastructure and security insights tool. This integration will benefit the CXOs immensely by augmenting their infrastructure management with real-time and live insights.
Windows 10 and Windows 7/8.1 Management
Radia 10 supports Windows 10 Feature Upgrades and Service Updates. You can install service updates (patching) through Patch Manager and perform feature upgrades through either Software Manager or OS Manager. Radia 10 supports all the three branches of Windows 10 CBB currently supported by Microsoft. This would help IT administrators to rollout and manage Windows 10 endpoints sooner and more efficiently.
Radia 10.0 includes support for Windows 7/8.1 rollup patching. The IT Administrators can now acquire the Security and rollup cumulative updates every month and distribute them to end points. It gives the freedom for Radia administrators to choose whether they want to distribute security-only updates or the full rollup updates using the features of CSDB that they are familiar with.
Radia 10 & Sentient
Radia 10.0 includes an integration of all the basic capabilities of Sentient. Sentient enables an enterprise administrator to get an immediate view of the overall health of the enterprise endpoints. Using Sentient, IT Administrators can search hundreds of thousands of enterprise endpoints and gather real-time data within seconds. Sentient helps in fixing critical security, compliance and configuration issues within minutes. The data is gathered using search queries, written in freeform text and presented in an interactive visual and graphical format that is easy to comprehend. With Sentient, in-place remediation of endpoints that are non-compliant with IT and security policies is achievable with a few clicks and in few minutes. Sentient, implemented with a few cutting edge technologies, is the most valuable addition to your endpoint management arsenal.
Data Insights is a one-stop solution to extract meaningful information from your existing data. Data Insights is a browser-based tool, which is integrated with Radia to enable data extraction from various database sources and create consolidated visualizations for analysis in an intuitive and interactive manner.
Data is extracted periodically, processed and placed in a data mart. Users interact with the data mart using an intuitive interface to export visualizations, schedule delivery through email, and create dashboards consisting of frequently used reports and more.
Using Data Insights, you can get more insights on your data:
- Define new views using a predefined template or create a completely new view
- Create interactive graphical views and dashboards
- Convert tabular views to graphical reports
- Export views to various formats
- Schedule emails with custom reports
- Interact with reports to change sorting, drag and drop, formatting, and filtering
- Experience automatic data refresh from data source to your views
Enterprise Mobility and UI Enhancements
Many of our customers’ feedback have been accommodated in Mobility menu options for improved usability and a better user experience. Enhancements have been made to provide tooltips to make labels more descriptive and helpful.
In addition, the following new capabilities simplify the tasks of a mobility administrator:
- Bulk import & upload of corporate devices
- QR Code based device registration
- Secure Enterprise Browser
- Time fencing support for Android and iOS
- Email security for Android (K9 client) and iOS (managed accounts)
- App support – Secure office
Finally, Radia 10.0 includes a rollup of a number of maintenance and bug fixes from Radia 9.2. Also, many incremental improvements in performance, scale and usability have been included.
