Announcement Radia (Sentient Endpoint Manager) 11.0 CP2

Persistent and the Radia team is excited to announce the availability of our latest Radia release – Radia 11.0 CP2.

This release includes several bug fixes and improvements to enhance the stability, usability, and performance of the product.

Here is a quick overview of what is new in CP2 in the respective focus areas:

Third Party Components Updates/Upgrades
Improvements in Patch Acquisition for Advanced Patch Manager - Displays if the device is not patched, reasons and information to acquire patches. Displays which devices are non-patched. Enables creating or customizing dashboards.

Smart Patching - identifies vulnerabilities and prioritizes critical updates based on factors like risk assessment, the importance of an application, and the potential impact on the stability of a system.
Smart Inventory - enhances the discovery of all network-enabled devices and lets you generate multiple actionable reports on the data collected. Inventory can consist of hardware devices, software applications, printers, non-domain devices (virtual machines, external active directories), and IP-based peripheral devices.

BitLocker Management - enables Windows to automate tasks and eliminates the need for IT administrators to set management policies by using different tools or other mechanisms.
Heartbeat-based job execution - enables you to set up automated tasks on a single or groups of devices at recurring intervals. It is based on a periodic signal called heartbeat instead of the Notify method. The Notify method along with Pull, Push, and distributed task management (DTM) modes require an open listening port, which poses a security risk.
