Unable to deploy iso image Windows 10

Hi,

 

After i upgraded Xenserver 6.5 SP1 to hotfix that integrate new Windows 10 tools (driver support), now when i try to deploy with Cloudplatform 4.5.1 Hotfix 1, it failed.

 

Failed to deploy Vm with Id: 755, on Host with Id: null

 

on a Xenserver without the update i deploy successfully.

Hi David,

 

The error that you have mentioned here is part of an end result message. The actual failure reason would be visible in the management server logs .

Hi David,

 

Possibly the hotfix has updated the template name for the Windows 10, previously the string 'experimental' was appended to the Windows 10 template in xenserver. You need to use addGuesOSMapping API call to add the new Windows template introduced in XenServer in CloudPlatform.

Thanks Jithin,

 

I added a new guest os and mapped them to my hypervisor.

 

All working fine now
