CPBM 2.0 DB Intergation with CPMAN

Hi,

I am evaluating CPBM 2, in earlier versions there was a way to integrate CPMAN DB while configuring CPBM were we provide Cloudstack DB logins, in the latest version I am unable to find that step.

Can you please help me out how to integrate with CPMAN DB? I have done all the configuration except DB integration. My CPBM is up but unable to fecth cloudstack resources.

Thanks,
Raju

CPBM 2.0 DB Intergation with CPMAN

To integrate CPBM2.0 with CloudStack; enable the CloudStack feature from CPBM UI -> IAAS. After onwards, we need to add the details of the CloudStack server and database details. This process needs to be done post installation of CPBM.

Hi Raju,

CPBM 2.0 is now a platform. In order to integrate CloudStack you have to enable the CloudStack service.
Please check the section *"Enabling cloud service connector and adding an instance"* at : http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/ccpb-20-map/ccpb-bootstrapping.html

Thanks,
Manish

Hi Raju,

Yes, you can give any unique string which will uniquely identify this instance of CloudStack.

Thanks,
Manish

Hi Raju,

In this case you can give your apiProxySuffix as "CPBM1" , and not the entire URL.
Please let me know if you still see error.

Thanks,
Manish

You can find the value for the SSO key in CloudPlatform under 'Global Settings' > 'security.singlesignon.key'.
This Single Sign-On key used for logging into the cloud.
