Cannot create channels

Cannot create channels

Hi all,
I set up a cloud portal 2.0 and I have already integrated it with cloud Stack.
Now, I am trying to create a new channel, but this option in unavailable and it is showing this message:

Channel creation is not allowed. Ensure that the reference price book is activated and at least one product is created.
i have already created one product.
Where can I see if reference price book is activated?
Can anyone help me?

Cannot create channels

Hi Lucas

You can click on Catalogs and select plan next. There you would find links for products as well as product bundles.
Create and publish product bundles which you want to use in your channel. Set price for the products. Then set a plan date i.e today.

Once you have done this then go to channels and create a channel, add bundles to the channel and set a plan date for the channel (You can set it to today).

Your channel should be ready to use now and you can proceed to create accounts.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, but I have already created a product and product bundle for test purpose, as you can see in the pictures in attachment, but i still cannot create a channel.

Hi Ashish
One more question, i have created one retail account, and the state of this account is "New Account", how do I active this account?
The activation of the product is schedule to tomorrow 31st. To Active this account should i wait until tomorrow?

Hi Lucas

If you have created a corporate account then you would need to verify your email , set password and then login as root and approve the workflow activity , you will see the link to activities from the dashboard. This will make your account active.

If its a retail account then verify your email, set password and provide credit card details to activate your account.

If it is a trial account then just verify your email and set your password and you should see the account as active.

Let me know if you can make progress based on above information.

My problem now is to access the console virtual machine from external network, but i have already created a new thread in the cloud plataform forum.

Hi Ashish,
i have one more question about products
i have created some products for allocated vm for template, i have set up price, but when one client(test porpose) go to the catalog and subscribe a template the price show free, no value.
Can you see in the screenshot in attachment.
Can you help me, how to save this issue?
Do you think, i am not creating the product correctly?

Hi Lucas

You have created and configured products correctly. Currently the utility bundle show as zero price in the UI listing. When you proceed to configure and subscribe it would show all charges which could incur. Once you subscribe CPBM will record its usage and charge as per the rates on a daily basis.

We have got this feedback on the confusion created by bundle showing zero price and are working on fixing it in future release.
