Unable to enter GUI after successful login
I have seen this happen when there is no default gateway on your management server. Can you try to add a default gateway on your management server see if that fixes the issue
Hello all,
Right after installing Cloud Platform on CentOs 6.5 I was able to login and go through the configuration steps. Once I was done with configuration, the GUI was working fine.
Now when I attempt to login, nothing happens. The logs show that login is successful, but I get the following errors right after:

Essentially I am stuck at the login page and can't get inside the GUI. The only change in the system/os was an IP address change (from DHCP to static). Could that be the issue?
Also, it is worth mentioning that previous to this installation I had attempted to install Apache CloudStack on Debian 7. I had gotten the issues with wrong username/password during login that some other users experienced, but once I fixed it, I ended up with the same errors as I have shown you above.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Rafael

I tried on my own to find which file holds that configuration, but no success. Do you know where I should change that on CentOS 6.5?
Hi Rafael,
Use the following command to add the default gateway
#route add default gw <your_gateway_ip_here>
To make this permanent add the following to /etc/sysconfig/network
GATEWAY=<your_gateway_ip_here>

Hi Prashanth,
Thanks for your time. I followed your instructions and rebooted the server (it is not in production yet) and I had no success.
On a side note, when I configured the static ip on this box, the following file was created: /etc/sysconfig/networking-scripts/ifcfg-System eth0. It holds these configurations:
DEVICE=eth0NM_CONTROLLED=yesONBOOT=yes#HWADDR=TYPE=EthernetBOOTPROTO=noneNAME="System eth0"#UUID=5fb06bd0-0bb0-7ffb-45f1-d6edd65f3e03IPADDR=192.168.1.200NETMASK=255.255.255.0DNS1=192.168.1.1HWADDR=c8:60:00:d0:88:58GATEWAY=192.168.1.1IPV6INIT=noUSERCTL=no
Here is the boot.log, just in case:

Is "/etc/sysconfig/networking-scripts/ifcfg-System eth0" a copy/paste error? You don't typically see spaces in filenames on unix/linux systems.
When logged into the system, can you 'ping 192.168.1.1' and/or 'ping 8.8.8.8'?
