CPBM 2.0 & Cloud Platform 3.0.6 integration

Hi

I have successfully integrated CPBM 2.0 with Cloud Platform 3.0.6.

Facing 2 problems now :
1.
When i click on Launch Cloud Console from 'root' it asks me to enter the username and pass for logging into Cloud Platform UI, but it should get logged in directly into Cloud Platform. Am i missing any more config?
I have entered correct SSO, API Key, Secret Key and Parent Domain Id while configuring connector.
2.
As a end user after registering when i try to deploy VM i.e. Click on 'Configure & Subscribe' any bundle, the screen hangs with 'Loading...'

PFA portal logs while Click on 'Launch Console' as root and 'Configure & Subscribe' as customer.

Also let me know if any more info is needed.

Regards
Ravi

Hi

Few things which should be taken care of while installing:

1. Run the CPBM installer script on all the management servers i.e. Cloud Stack/Cloud Platform.
2. API/Secret/SSO key should be copied from UI ( http://<mgm server ip add>:8080/client/?direct=true) and not from database of Cloud Stack/Cloud Platform
3. Time zone for all the servers should be same (UTC preferred)
4. Check iptables w.r.t ports opened on portal and management servers. (/usr/share/vts3/repository)
5. If more than once portal server is used change the JMS config for in cloud.properties file both should point to different databases i.e. cloud_portalmq1 and cloud_portalmq2 and create the same in portal database.
6. Currently CPBM 2.0 is not configured to support master/slave with binary logging ON.

Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks a lot man!

One of the servers was in a different time zone and that was the cause of the problem. Now I have everything in UTC and the platform is working great.

Hi Guys,

Good that the issue is resolved.
I would like to clarify one small thing here. The two servers need NOT be in same timezone but MUST have time difference less than 300 secs. Which means one server can be in UTC while another in IST but still can have same time. So, you should always compare the timestamp on the servers , using the command "$ date +%s", and make sure the difference is not more than 300.

Thanks,
Manish
