Hello Ishant!

As far as I know, the MDM agent (Android/iOS) cannot be installed by pushing it from the Radia Console, you have to install it from Google Play or Apple Store. However, if you have the Android agent .apk file you can also install the agent for instance from a mail that contains the .apk file as an attachment. Likewise, if you have the iOS agent .ipa file, you can install the agent via iTunes.

Hi Arne,

Thanks for reply, please confirm:

From where i can get these .apk and .ipa files?

are these inside the Binaries of Radia ?

And Windows Phones are not supported in Radia ?

You should find the MDM agent files in this directory on the Core server:
C:\Program Files (x86)\PSL\RCA\Media\mobileclient

However, you might want to ask Accelerite Support for 'lastest and greatest'.

Yes, Windows Phone is supported, but I never looked into it.

Thanks for reply dear.

Just an Overview:

Then how the communication will take place.

As i believe  Mobile devices are not comes under AD also.

Do we need to open the same ports 3463-3466 ?

Mobile IP will be public, then how the communication take place ?

Please, If you can suggest on this.

There are quite a few steps that need to be carried out in order to configure Radia for MDM, and the steps are documented in the Radia manuals.
I set up a Radia 9.1 and 9.2 demo, and I followed the documentation and among other information these two KB articles (but it was not straight forward):

https://support.accelerite.com/hc/en-us/articles/204380030-MDM-9-1-Configuring-Radia-to-manage-Android-devices
https://support.accelerite.com/hc/en-us/articles/204380170-RCA-9-1-Configuring-Radia-to-manage-iOS-devices

The MDM agent must communicate with the Radia infrastructure using SSL and port 443, and you must also set up Google Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification Service so you can push the MDM agent from the Radia console.

Btw, forgot to mention you may also install the Radia MDM agent from the so called Radia MDM Self-service Portal once you have the MDM solution properly set up, check the 'Download Android Agent' link on this picture:

Hi Ishant,

Like Arne explained, you can pick up the .ipa file from the C:\Program Files (x86)\PSL\RCA\Media\mobileclient folder.

In order to manage the iOS devices through Radia, you need an APNS certificate, also known as MDM certificate.  Radia uses the APNS certificate to communicate with the iOS devices and this certificate is mandatory to be able to manage iOS devices. The Radia System Admin guide elaborately covers the instructions on how to generate this certificate.

Hope this helps.
