Enterprise Console Error

When I launch the enterprise console I get a "The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try after sometime" error. How can I go about fixing this or what logs should I look into to remediate this error?

I think I have seen this when the RCA Portal service had not started properly, check that first.

I'd check the Portal (Management Portal) logs and the Configuration Server logs -- we typically see this when either the Portal or Configuration Server (ZTOPTask) is not running or needs to be restarted.  Check also that the Directory Service is running.

Hi Derrick,

Stop the Application Server Service. Kill java.exe process using task manager if not stopping gracefully.

Ensure that RCA-Db service is up and running and then restart the application server.

Yogesh

Hi Derrick,

You can try the following steps:

- Stop the Application Server service.

- Kill the java.exe process if it is still running.

- Make sure the Portal service is running.

- Go to the folder \RCA\ApplicationServer\standalone\deployments directory. If there are files with the extension .failed or .undeployed, change their extension to .dodeploy. For example, rename the file  sessionmanager.war.undeployed to sessionmanager.war.dodeploy.

- Restart the Application server and wait around 15 minutes.

If it does not solve the issue, there is a hotfix for this issue in Radia 9.2. Please open a support ticket and ask for hotfix WININFRA920_QCCR1C50279 (HOTFIX_OVCM_INF_V9.2_2016-02-23_1456227141a0f84f2).

Best regards,

Maribel González
