Juniper Site to Site VPN

Hello,

Have anybody tried to make a site to site vpn using a juniper srx (100) ?

and what are the parameters you are using both on Juniper and in Cloudstack

Does anybody know which log files i need to look in CloudStack ?

Kind regards

Gert

Juniper Site to Site VPN

Hi Gert,

Anything with JunOS 9.5 or later should work.  I dont remember the exact parameters I used ( I have done it long back), but make sure the configuration matches on both ends.

Regarding the logs on Cloudstack, check /var/log/auth.log on the VPC router.

Hello Prashanth

I read that JunOS 9.5 was supported but it seems like the CSP need to connect to the router, not the other way around..

But i have not logged a ticket at CSP as i have used the entire weekend looking at logfiles both on the VPC router and juniper,

not getting anywhere.. :)

Kind regads

Gert

Of corse.. :)

the higlights are.

Keep at the same settings on both CSP and Juniper.

on CSP i choose the default settings...

On Juniper you have to choose:

V1 as IKE version

on IPSEC auto VPN, i choose use proxy identity

on IPSEC proposal compatible

that it ..

Kind regards

Gert
