Adding SMTP to CPBM post configuration

I configured CP without SMTP and now I would like to add my SMTP settings to CP.

What is the recommended way to do it?

I could not find the proper place for this in the root UI and I am not sure if editing the cloud.properties file is the correct method.

The following properties need to be updated:

# Mail sender (SMTP/SMTPS) configuration
################################################################################
vmops.mail.protocol=smtp
vmops.mail.host=
vmops.mail.port=25
vmops.mail.username=
vmops.mail.password=

----

CPBM 1.4.2, "Installing CloudPortal" option will ask for the SMTP settings as well.

Currently, if you want to modify the existing SMTP settings, then, modifying cloud.properties is the way.

Hi Jacobbe,

"cloud.properties" is the only place to add SMTP settings.
You can update the SMTP settings directly in the cloud.properties file and then restart the CPBM server.

Please note restarting the CPBM is must after making changes in cloud.properties file.
