I have a question regarding VPC.
I want to throttle bandwidth between the internet and the VPC Network, i do not want to throttle
the bandwiddth between the serveren in the vpc Network.
I know how to throttle the bandwidth on normal routers, but how do i do it on a VPN internet router, as i am not able to choose the Network router. ?
I do however have the possibility to choose the Network router when i define the vpc Network (tier).
- hope sombdy can help me with this..

Hi Gert,
As far as I know the Service Offering for the virtual router that is set in the Network Offering for the first Isolated Network (VM Tier) you create sets the bandwidth.
So if you want to throttle the bandwidth you have to do it (kind of) the same way as you do with a normal network.

What do you mean by "using the normal router vm".
By using the service offerings and network offerings you can limit bandwidth (same as for isolated networks).

On the normal router VM, i change the service offering so i have 10/100/1000Mbit 3 differance offerings.
But i can not see how i can change the VPM router facing the internet to a service offering of 10Mbit for instance..
and keep 1 Gbit between the internal networks..

You are totally correct. Right now there is no way to limit bandwidth on the VPC, there no way to specify the Service Offering for the router VM. :(
