Catalina log empty after upgrade to CPBM 2.2.0

Catalina log empty after upgrade to CPBM 2.2.0

Having upgraded CPBM 1.4.6 to 2.2.0, the /var/log/cloud/portal/catalina.out is now always empty.

 

The CPBM documentation refers to setting log levels in usr/share/vts3/serviceability.xml, but this file does not exist, there is a 'serviceability' folder instead with various sub folders.

 

Is there anything that needs to be configured to enable the catalina logging for CPBM 2.2.0, or should I be looking in some other folder for the catalina log?

Catalina log empty after upgrade to CPBM 2.2.0

Hi Tariq,

 

Logs for CPBM 2.2.0 can be found at /usr/share/cloud/portal/logs/cpbm-server.log

You can find all behavioral changes at: http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/cpbm-22-map/cpbm-behlist-con.html

 

The serviceability.xml exists in /usr/share/vts3/config/ directory.

Thanks Manish. After digging around I did eventually find the log and seviceability.xml (the directory in the documentation needs to be corrected).
