Public IP VPN connection

I'm trying to configure a VPN under IP management tab. After enabling the VPN I see that it opened the correct ports:

0.0.0.0/0 udp 4500 4500
0.0.0.0/0 udp 1701 1701
0.0.0.0/0 udp 500 500

Trying to connect using SonicWall VPN client and pointing to my public IP I am never able to establish connection.

Has anyone tried it and was successful ?
Are there any other configurations I need to do or use a specific VPN client ?

Thank you

Hi,

This seems to be some network or VPN configuration issue. Can you try to configure VPN directly from CCP UI?
If same issue exists after confifguring from CCP then I would request you to post the query in CCP forum (http://forums.citrix.com/category.jspa?categoryID=321).

Thanks,
Manish

Manish,

It appears that CCBM only supports split VPN, whereas CCP supports site-to-site VPN with the VPC.
Unfortunately based on my research the two products are not yet compatible to setup a site-to-site VPN connection, which is a shame.

Hi,
I am not sure I understood your previous comment.

Were you able to setup the site-site VPN connection between your Sonicwall Customer gateway and the VPC's VPN Gateway in CCP? And you are not able to replicate the same in CPBM?

If this is the case, once you create the Site-site VPN in CPBM, please verify if the corresponding Customer Gateway, VPC VPN Gateway and VPN Connection are getting created on CCP.

Another quick test would be to create a fresh VPC and enable Site-site VPN on that VPC.

Please let us know if this helps.
