You may want to review http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX132014. Once you extract the VHD file using this method (example shows the storage as NFS) you can upload it to CloudPlatform.

Does anyone know how one would go at converting a .XVA (license server) to a .VHD so it can be imported in CloudPlatform?

Erik, refer to steps 15 and 16 on how to get the VHD that you need. You will need to copy it to a webserver that CCP can reach.
