XenServer Role Based Administration and CloudPlattform

Hey all,

i have a question regarding XS RBAC and CloudPlattform.

So is it possible to active the XenServer RBAC and LDAP Authentication and use a LDAP Account with Pool Operator rights to interact between CP and XS or does CloudPlattform need the "root" Account?

Hi, BR. Currently RBAC is not supported and you do need to provide CloudStack with the root account. It's not perfect but at least the password will be encrypted in the database (as of CS 3.0).
