Other than contacting support, is there another way to expedite a trial of Buisness Manager?

Everytime I go to try it, it tells me a representative will contact you. I have submitted it and its neally been a week without contact from Citrix.

I have a MyCitrix Acct - 90 day trial for POC is all I am needing....

How to set CPBM to create Shared Account on CCP

Hi,

In CPBM1.4, Administration>>Configuration>>Server>>account.shared.cloud.account can be set to true
to create user in Shared Account in CCP when new user is added in an account in CPBM.
Otherwise for every user added in an account in CPBM, a new account is created in CCP.

I cannot find account.shared.cloud.account setting in CPBM2.0.
So by default I get new account created in CCP for every user added in an account in CPBM.
Where can I set the account.shared.cloud.account setting or similar in CPBM2.0.

Cannot enable service for Power User and User

Hi,

I created Power User and User from Master User.
When I log in as Power User or User, I cannot browse catalog and cannot create VM.
When I log in as Power User, the DashBoard in Home display following message.
[Please visit the Company Setup --> Services page to sign up to at least one

service in order to be able to access the catalog. ]
[Enabled] botton of cloud service in Home>>Services is disabled.
Master User of that account cannot enable Services for Power User or User.

Can anyone explain about enabling service for Power User and User.

I assume Power User and User can see catalog and create VM.

Root account locked

Hi,

I cannot login as Root with correct credentials.
I think the account is locked.
How cloud I unlock the Root account without email.

I have not set mail for Root account yet because of following CPBM2 Known Issue

Cannot see Templates in CPBM

Hi,

I can see ISO, Service Offering and Disk Offering I created in CCP after integration with CPBM.
But I cannot see any Templates after I created in CCP after integration with CPBM.
(The Templates I created are Public)

To be able to see Templates should I need to reinstall CCP, CPBM and create Templates in CCP before integration with CPBM?

Public IP VPN connection

I'm trying to configure a VPN under IP management tab. After enabling the VPN I see that it opened the correct ports:

0.0.0.0/0 udp 4500 4500
0.0.0.0/0 udp 1701 1701
0.0.0.0/0 udp 500 500

Trying to connect using SonicWall VPN client and pointing to my public IP I am never able to establish connection.

Has anyone tried it and was successful ?
Are there any other configurations I need to do or use a specific VPN client ?

Hi,

I am evaluating CPBM 2, in earlier versions there was a way to integrate CPMAN DB while configuring CPBM were we provide Cloudstack DB logins, in the latest version I am unable to find that step.

Can you please help me out how to integrate with CPMAN DB? I have done all the configuration except DB integration. My CPBM is up but unable to fecth cloudstack resources.

Image and CSS Customization

Hi,

I would like to change some images for customization.
In CPBM 1.4 , I add some image files in "/usr/share/cloud/portal/webapps/portal/images/".

In CPBM 2.0 , I think that "/usr/share/cloud/portal/webapps" is no longer available.
I fount out "/usr/share/vts3/work/org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.deployer_3.0.3.RELEASE/staging/global/bundle/vmops.portal/2.0.0/vmops.portal-2.0.0.jar/images"
But when I add image files and restart cloud-portal service, the added image files are gone.Is it temp location?

How can I change the image files and also css files permanently.

What is Aggregation Handling in Product Creation

Hi,

Could anyone explain or refer doc about Aggregation Handling(combine/exclude) in Product creation.
I can add as many Running VM in Usage Type of Product Details in Product creation process.
But when i go to next step all Running VMs are selected as one and setting is made as one.
Is it normal flow?
I can't figure out what it means.

CCP service fields

When adding the Citrix CloudPlatform service in CPBM 2.0, what are the following fields used for and what/where is the information obtained from to populate them:

1. SSO key - what is this key refering to and where is the value obtained from?
2. API key, Secret key, CloudPlatform domain Uuid - are these values obtained from an existing CCP user eg. the admin user or another user?

In the CPBM 2.0 docuementation: en.ccpb-20-map.ccpb-main-wrapper-20-con.pdf

There are several references to the cloud.properties file, in 2.0 I have found it is located here:

/usr/share/vts3/repository/prop/cloud.properties

but the documentation in some places still refers to it located here:

/etc/cloud/portal/cloud.properties

Does this need to be corrected?

Having added the Citrix CloudPlatform service in CPBM 2.0, I am getting the following error in the cpbm_server.log.

Google Recapture not working

Hi,

I am trying to create Trial account in CPBM 2.0.1.
Trial account creation needs access to Google Recapture.Right?

In CPBM 1.4.5 I add proxy to JAVA_OPTS field of /etc/cloud/portal/tomcat6.conf.(I use proxy for Internet)

But I can't find similar file [tomcat6.conf] in CPBM 2.0.1.

Where could I make such setting in CPBM 2.0.1?

Any suggestions please.

Hi have installed a test setup of CP 3.0.6 and CPBM 2.0.1.

When trying to add the CP CloudService we have encountered an issue where we get an error of "Service Instance could not be created."

I suspect the issue is with 2 values which are a little unclear to me and don't seem to be explained very thoroughly in the setup documentation - "Cloud Platform domain Uuid" and "API Proxy Suffix".

If anyone can shed any light on what these two values represent and where to derive the right settings, that would be very much appreciated.

We are trying to install new version of CloudPortal using below.
CloudStack-3.0.6-1
CloudPortal-2.0.0-1

We followed the install procedure as described in

There was no error in installation of CloudPortal.
But when we try to enable CloudPlatform using CloudPortal GUI, the attached error shows up.
